Borders

The scratches on his face are faded and his mismatched blue and green eyes stare into my mirror image of them. It's funny how we both have the same look in our similar eyes. That same kind of deep hatred. Not for each other though. For the man who was the face of an evil corporation. For a dead man who has left his horrific mark on both of us. He and I shouldn't be walking with each other. Our paths are meant to be walked alone. But you know what? We're good at breaking rules.
