This is book 1 of 2 in a series called the Dead World. You don't have to read the other one but it will give you some context of what happened to Harper between act 1 and 2.

The 2nd book is called Queen of Hearts. The main character is Rick Grimes's sister, Taylor Grimes. She is the love interest of Daryl Dixion.

Harper will appear at the end of act 3- .

Taylor and some other OCs might make an appearance in this story too.
