The Clone War had come to an end. The Jedi Rebellion had been squashed with the Clone troopers executing the Jedi. Unfortunately, the so called "Jedi Rebellion" had caused some casualties. 

The Empire was cementing its place as the new government of the galaxy, and with it comes a new senator of Naboo. The senator will help transition Naboo from the Republic to the Empire, but not without a few challenges and secrets of her own. Not only did she have to juggle her new duties as senator, but also her grief that threatens to consume her at any moment. 

She will meet a certain squad of deserter clones along the way, but are they friend or foe? Can they help her heal and teach her to move on, or will she simply self-destruct on herself and everyone around her?

These deserters seem to bring trouble whenever she's around. Or perhaps the title "Senator of Naboo" is cursed.

During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech. After following the girl and getting involved she is involuntarily saved by The Bad Batch. Fighting their leader all the way back to Coruscant upon their first meeting; she is glad to be out of their sight for what she hoped was for good. But their little girl isn't one to give up on Aurora. After tracking the bounty hunter down. Hunter got to see the shady part of Coruscant's lower levels that she lives on. He saves her from an ambush and again Aurora finds herself back in the care of the batch. A not ideal situation for her and Hunter couldn't agree more, but as Hunter gets to know Aurora more and more he can't help himself from wondering what happened to her in the past and why she gets so defensive about it. And how would Aurora feel once she is finally forced to face her feelings? Does she embrace it or does she do what she does best and runaway?
