After an accident that Drizzle can't even remember, he wakes to find that he's lost everything. Injured and trapped in an unfamiliar place with no recollection of where he is or why he's there, Drizzle is hopelessly lost. At least, until he's taken in by a kind wolf and offered the chance to be part of their small, less than orthodox pack.

Drizzle soon grows closer to these wolves than he'd ever imagined, but his past is determined not to be forgotten. Visions of his former life haunt his dreams, while feelings in the present leave Drizzle wondering just where he belongs in this pack. To stay with the wolves that truly care about him means overcoming scars both new and old, and facing fears he never thought imaginable.

But there's more to his new family than what's on the outside. The wolves he thought he knew share an adverse past of their own, all the while Drizzle's dreams grow more confusing and sinister by the day. He starts to think the answers to what brought him here are better left in darkness. Maybe, leaving it all behind is just what Drizzle needs to remember how to be happy, how to love, and even find a new home.

But everyone's past catches up with them eventually...
