At a special school even at Gotham Academy Armed gunmen seize the building taking everyone in it hostage. They gather everyone together in the gym keeping Bruce Wayne and his ward Dick Grayson separated from the rest and under guard. They send out a message listing their demands saying that if they see Batman or Robin they will start killing the hostages, starting with the VIPs.

Dick Grayson, Ward of batman, is what the young justice describe: strong and cunning. He may crack jokes and have a bad child hood, but he has always been strong. When a mission goes wrong, the team gets beat and Robin gets kidnapped by Deathstroke. When the team awakens by the justice league, no one knows what happens or who took their little bird. They searched for him for three years before they gave up on their search, accepting his death. In those three years, Death stroke had broken Robin. When Robin failed a mission... well let's just say he has a temper when it comes to failure. Robin finally escapes the torture of the experiments and uses his new found power to guide his way through to the mountain. Because of the constant serum input, he is blind. Finally reunited with his old team, the team finds how secretive and broken Robin looks now and what will happen if his old master wants him back? How far will Deathstroke go to get him back? Also can the team bring Dick back from his lowest point in life? Will they be able to fix him after the mental and emotional abuse from Deathstroke, or will he be broken and lost forever?

Act 1 Dick Grayson has not had an easy life. It all started when his parents died then Bruce Wayne adopted him. After finding out that Bruce Wayne was Batman he became Robin to get revenge on the people who killed his parents and to help stop crime. Life was good for a while. He helped Batman fight crime and soon created his own team with his best friends Wally and Kladur. One night the team was deployed on a mission to rescue a few hostages. Everything was going as planned until the team bumped into some unexpected company. Deathstroke and Bane managed to take down the entire team and kidnap Robin before the team could call for backup. 5 years later Dick comes back with a new friend and is bloodthirsty. He wants revenge against his old mentor who let both Jason and him down. Will Bruce and Dick's friends be able to save him or will they have to take down him down for good. (Editing)

While on a mission, things get out of hand and the groups end up splitting. Robin is hunted and shot twice in the abdomen. He manages to escape them, making his way to an abandoned building where, to his surprised, held Deathstroke. With the help of an enemy, Deathstroke nurses Robin back to health. When Robin is healed, through the weeks with Deathstroke, he finds comfort in him. Deathstroke, Sensing this, decides to help get Robin's strength back up. With Robin learning new things that Batman never taught him, Robin decides to stay with Deathstroke as a new apprentice, not realizing the mental damage he was doing to his old team. While they were out searching for Robin. Thinking he was dead, little did they know Robin was living his best no strings attached life. After 5 years, the Team gets a mission which happens to be tracking down Deathstroke and his unknown apprentice. When they find him, what will they think? Will Robin even apologize? Is Robin even Robin anymore? What will Batman think? How much has changed on both sides?
