9 years.

I was sent to Alrest 9 years ago. 9 years I spent away from my family. 9 years I spent missing milestones in my life. 9 years I had to forget everything I've ever known, including my native language in order to fit in. Now I'm a Scavenger on an incredibly old Titan I call Gramps. I was hired to help with a massive expedition and given enough money to give the old couple that raised me a good life and a full belly.

But I didn't know the disaster I'd help unleash or that I would be on the front lines to stop it.

I guess these 9 years have changed me.
