A dark menacing growl bounces off the trees around you in the forest. You take a step back in fear as you see a dark figure move to your left, then to your right. You feel like your surrounded, like your being hunted. "What has brought you to my land." A deep voice states. "Why have you so foolishly come here." It asks again. You keep quiet to shocked to speak. "Answer!" A gust of wind blows in your face harshly as if the voice is right in your face. A midnight black wolf steps out of the shadows and into your sight from behind a large oak tree. His eyes a pure white that almost seem to glow. "Give me one good reason not to kill you right now."

The earth crunched beneath my feet, the harsh, cold wind biting my face as I ran through the dense forest. It was closing in on me. I could sense it. Its warm breath against the back of my neck, its footsteps thundering through the trees, its feral snarls and snapping jaws. But it was just a dream. A night terror that has haunted me for the past few months. Or was it... A mysterious howl echoes through the woods. A beast, calling her closer. Why her? Why would it want her?
