Mystery
'How far would you go to protect your sanity?' Braelynn Sommers is a quiet and reserved girl that just wants to be normal in a corrupt world. Things change for the worse, taking a dark turn after her mother passes away and her father decides to relocate to another town. There's only one problem: he illegally takes over an escort service in the basement of their new home, as Braelynn comes in contact with a reality she never knew existed. Pretending to be mute while trying to fit in with a distorted society, she meets Dalton - a rather mysterious man but also full of life. Overcoming past traumas, meeting new friends and finding love along the way, can her spirit stay alive? A capture of faith, resilience, and a test for survival.

"The quietest storms are the hardest to escape" Dear Readers, This novel is near and dear to my heart for a multitude of reasons. It follows Lia, a girl who finds herself entangled in a web of dangerous situations. A stalker ex boyfriend, and a new love interest to whom she is connected in unexpected ways, Lia is doing her best to navigate everyday life. As it turns out a stalker may be more than just a stalker and have deeper connections and intentions than anyone feared. This story is a culmination of experiences perhaps not directly derived from personal happenings but certainly driven from emotions I have personally experienced and have had for closest to me experience. With that said, a trigger warning must be placed on this story. SA, DV, and general violence. Please read at your own risk. And thank you to anyone who does.
