Venus Nightingale is a teenage witch who lives with Edalyn Clawthorne, the talented but 'criminal' most powerful witch of the Boiling Isles, Edalyn took Venus in when her father disappeared and has treated her like her own child ever since.
    
    She has lived the same life for seven years now; studying magic, learning to play songs on her guitar, committing some crimes with Eda, going to Hexide (On the days she's not skipping que school)... And she was satisfied with that life.
    
    But all this will change when a human comes to the Boiling Isles and starts living with her.
