This is a rewrite of the movie Wish, celebrating 100 years of Disney.
However, the movie was received with mixed feedback due to its plot and songs. Also, many cool concepts were scrapped in the film, which is why I incorporated them in my version of the story.

It's like taking away a part of your soul, leaving behind an empty gap no material object will fill. Asha, a 17 year old girl who has yet to give up her wish, watched as this emptiness consumed her grandfather. He is about to turn 100 years old, which means he has lived almost 82 years with that emptiness that seemed to just grow and grow over the years, but he is a strong man, never giving up on the dream that one year his wish will be granted. Asha, determined to make his wish come true, tries to become the King's apprentice, one of the sure-fire ways a wish could be granted, is to become the one who can grant it. But instead of learning how to grant wishes, Asha learns the dark reason why King Magnifico keeps them. Fearing for her people's wishes, Asha turns away from the King and his ways, doing the forbidden and wished upon a star, only for a boy who's hair glowed like starlight to fall from the sky.Complete

A baker, best known as Mal, was cursed. Cursed so that she'd never get magic. She wanted to use magic to help her be a well-known artist. She wished to have it, not struggle with money, and to one day meet her long-lost father. Evie lives with her stepmother and stepsisters but was treated more of a servant than a sister. She had a close friend, Doug, who was the stable boy, and he helped her in every way he can. The maiden's one wish was to be able to attend the three-day festival and meet the charming prince. Jay is the thief in the village near the woods, and he was very good at what he did. He lived on his own ever since he lost when he was a young boy. Jay only steals for survival. He wished to live in with the rich and have no worries. Carlos was a poor, young farm boy and inventor who lived with his mother and pet dog, Dude. His dog was the best hunter, but with each year he grew to older to hunt for any food. Carlos wished to keep his best friend. Jane was the girl who always wore a pink bow that matched with a pink cape. She always loved to eat sweets and visited her grandmother's house often in the woods. When the witch, Maleficent, next door to them told them away to break the curse, Ben and Mal decided to use the three days to get the ingredients needed. They needed to find the ingredients that will reverse the curse and restore the witch's wings: a playful dog, a ribbon as pink as the sunset sky, a blood-red hat, and a slipper as pure as the ocean. All go into the woods, each with a wish they desperately want to come true.
