In which two former child victors are forced into the Hunger Games to fight. Each other, this time.

To everyone, she was the same ruthless foe who stole his crown. To her, he was the Capitol darling who grew bitter with her. To him, she was everything.

District Four's Finnick Odair and District Six's Irvina Cruise are two victors who both won back-to-back games at fourteen. Only, Irvina won the year after Finnick, first meeting each other during the promo for her games. 

At first, after she won, Ceasar and the Capitol tried to paint them as rivals, adamant that Irvina intentionally stole Finnick's crown.
But it was far from that. Irvina won because of the help of her District partner Logan, and because she was so stubborn in staying alive.

Either way, Finnick and Irvina were daubed as enemies by the Capitol, even if they were secretly the opposite. In fact, they were in a relationship together until Snow forced Finnick into prostitution.

Since then, rumours of their rivalry resurfaced, and over the years, they gradually start to believe the feud themselves.
So what happens when they are forced to see each other for the first time in nine years to compete in the Quarter Quell?
