They say he who wants the moon should seek it at night. Perhaps this is why Christie chose to have her house on the top of Prophet Johnna hill, the same place where the great Palace of the Assyrian King Sanharib was. Deep in it, endless armories are saved with his secrets that are buried in the sand. Christies drew inspirations from the darkness of the earth. Her mysterious stories were derived from these elements. There is hardly any difference between the edge of a dagger and a sword, pistol or gun shot, mangonel and artillery shells; they all lead to the same result. The pawns would always perform their preset roles which would take their lives one after another despite their youth.
This enormous stock was an everlasting inspiration for Christie to produce creative series of novels, to come up with genius scenarios after coming together with the Kings of Mesopotamia in her dreams. They shared with her the secrets of kings and the puzzles of war and peace. She also secretly talked to her beloved antiquities.
Christie once wrote in 1944: "I will go there again, the things I love on this land will never perish." This did not happen though... The monuments on this land turned into ruins because of war. Here, since the beginning of time, war embraces the fake peace, after the river meets the desert and majesty undermines reality; a reality fatigued by the struggle between faith and disbelief, the collusion of civilizations, and the endless battles of Contradictions on this land. Let the ashes of war bear witness.......................... The tale still have things to be told.

Those who were taken... They never came back, dragged beneath the waves never to return. Their haunting screams were a symbol of their horrific deaths. Like shadows they lay in wait, the deep blue waters hiding them from view. With sharp claws they attack, Pointed fangs tearing into skin, Eager mouths devouring human flesh. Cally was taken, dragged under the water by one of the vicious creatures. But she was not devoured nor torn apart by ruthless claws--no. She was a captive. ~•~ Water instantly invades her senses. Her eyes sting, her lungs and nose burning. She thrashes, kicks, claws--anything to get away.
