Lena Fairchild has given everything and more for the Shadow World. She's died and sacrificed everything she has in life just to make sure the people she cares for survive. That they will live happily. Why do you think the angels favor her so? It's not for her lack of compassion or intelligence. No, they see what others have ignored Lena's entire life. She's been shunned by her mother and sister. She's never had anyone on her side, yet she is still here. She is still willing to fight for us all even though we do not deserve it. That's the kind of person she is.

I understand some readers may find this fanfic offensive but NO I am not straight-washing any characters. It's never explicitly stated in this FF but both Lena and Alec are bisexual. In this fantasy world they just lean more toward opposite gender. 

This Fanfic is based on the TV series NOT the books so it's different and I've changed a bit of the plot to fit my character.
