Iris Jones, a nine year old little girl living on a farm next to Hershel and Shawn Greene: A neighbor to the girl. She went to school with her best friend, Clementine though Iris liked english and Clementine liked history. They got along really well, so well that they became best friends. Then the apocalypse happened, the dead came alive, eating the living. Her parents had just left for a vacation with her best friend's parents, leaving her with a babysitter. To survive, the babysitter leaves to find supplies but never comes back.

On November 2037, a pack of aggressive creatures were found in the underground of the City of Macon. It was called Zerglings. The one-meter-tall creature with complex optical structure, which allow them to see at night. They leap with their webbed feet and possess sickle limbs and sharp incisor teeth, used primarily for tearing into flesh. They keep increasing in number and the human civilization was started to falling down. Countless people died. Human are not capable to fight the Zergling. A few weeks went by, we learned that the Zergling were found in other places too around the world. Within 8 months, they took over the world. Survivors form communities. They defend their home against Zergling. Some communities survive, but some has to accept their tragic fate. Fourteen years later, the earth has become a bad place to live. With limited and scarce resources, sometimes human become as dangerous as the Zergling. At first human fight the creature, and then human fight each other. An eighteen-year-old girl, Clementine, saved by Lee Everett when this all started. They travelled and met other survivors until they were sound and safe inside a community. Clementine learned that people around her, fellow survivors, friends, close friends, or anyone that meant family to her, always died. And sometimes, for stupid reasons. She even made one simple mistake that make it worse, leading her fate to a dangerous world she's not prepared to be in.
