Emerald Collins is like most 16 year old girls in district 12, starving and trying to survive. its now been 3 months since the rebellion ended and district 13 has been destroyed. But when it is announced all over Panem that there will now be the hunger games annually, Emerald's life is turned around entirely.

This is my first story on wattpad so it's probably going to be really bad and I have no idea what I'm doing! Oh well I'll learn along the way!
This story is based on the original books/movies "the Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins, some of these characters I made up but most of the ideas are by Suzanne.

This Tree Bleeds Red /|\ Hunger Games
This work follows The Hunger Games book from the POV of an OC. Some of the plot will be changed and/or dialogue will be different. I will be following the original plot from the book as closely as possible, with some variations of differing scenes or text due to the OC insert. Thus, the world, most of the characters in this fic, most of the plot, and dialogue, belongs to and is owned by Suzanne Collins. All rights are to the creators of the hunger games series. What if the rebellion failed, the hunger games continued? These are the 150th annual hunger games! To remind the citizens of the failed rebellion the Capitol decided to hide ruins in the arena. Vivus Redis, a seventeen year old boy from district 13, is being reaped. Will he survive and see his best friend and family again? Or will he die a horrible death in the arena?
