In a world at war over magic, an imprisoned thief is invited to plan a heist to steal the World Heart again.
Ever Thymeon dreams of her freedom, a thing of the past after her heist to steal a world treasure was betrayed from under her.
When she's given the opportunity to trade one life of imprisonment for another, she takes it without hesitation. She'll need to join the not quite prince of a faraway kingdom and the Captain of his Guard to participate in a heist even she has no experience in. She doesn't care about the kingdoms or the rebellion the prince promises to bring, not anymore.
She simply wants her freedom again.
To win it, she must enter her old world of thieves and gangs, magic and murder. She'll need to befriend an empress she despises, survive an impossible heist twice over, and gather a crew she's not sure if she can trust anymore.
But when shadows rot the land once again, and a promised evil begins to awaken, she must fight not just for her freedom but to desperately keep her world from being destroyed.

VILLAIN (book 1)
L is the 'villain' that reigned in tyranny for over 300 years. Finally, one day, she was captured and killed. At least that's popular knowledge. L is alive, though restrained. Magic is getting stolen. And L's the one who needs to discover the culprit. With the help of heroes-in-the-making and some old allies, L will travel to the Demon realm, where a new Demon King has appeared. He also happens to be the main suspect. But first, L has to regain control of her magic(that went mad), the heroes-to-be have to get trained (they're kids) and the militaries have to find out who the spy is (yes, there's a spy).
The Chase
Evie is haunted by her past, and so tangled up with her best friend and room mate she isn't even sure she remembers how to be an independent person anymore. This Roadtrip was going to be their last big hurrah as room mates. One last wild long party together before finally trying to grow up. On one of the last nights of their road trip, Evie runs into someone who is more than willing to follow her anywhere, someone who knows he was made to love her.
