The story revolves around the two scientist in the game called Empires of the Undergrowth by Slug Studios. It tells their story on how they researched the Formica Ereptor (Gene thief) ants. Meanwhile doing that, more twists and plots will occur in between.

Ant names and classifications (except the Formica Ereptors) are all based on scientific facts. Including in game ants.
