when the bad guys who are still criminals before they reformed plan to kidnap the king of versies in monte carlo because he is winning big at the casino but at wrong timing  the madagascar gang crash the event and gets the attention of monte carlo's animal control. left with no choice the bad guys soon follow the gang to get back to USA when the villiainess dubois wants not only alex's head but the bad guys heads too. in order to blend in with their surrondings without catching attention of the police they join the circus in hopes of getting back to the US.
