"The descendants of the gods were sent to the mortal Earth once upon a time. There were 12 of them. They were chosen by the heavens to protect the mortal world from danger, dark magic, foul creatures and any harm coming in their way. They were granted with immensely powerful abilities, intellect, wisdom, courage as well as kindness and rightfulness. They lived forever and fought for the human race ever since. However, they weren't always known by the mankind. Once they were, They were deemed as The Immortals." A 100 years had passed after The Immortals descended from the heavens and fought the legendary Battle of Arion. Where the demons, dark wizards, uncomprehensible creatures fought the soldiers who were sent from Heaven, The Skyliers, for the complete control over the land in between; The mortal world. The Heavens won the war but just barely. The Lord of the demons was getting stronger as the years past and it wasn't going unoticed. In concerns of the safety of the mortal world, the Gods had chosen 12 potential mortals to protect the mortal reign. As time passed, there weren't any disturbances. However, there was a prophecy. " In 10 decades the dark will rise, and that is when light will be forbidden. A cimmerian shade paints itself across the lands, as a storm nears built of pure evil and convulsion. However, as it would be rash and unadvised, That is when the darkness would be overridden, and the world would once again return to its' right hands. Where the world is back to conciliation. The chosen ones shall pass but never die, As every 10 decades there will be new successions. Where new light tints the blue sky, There will be new life with new decisions." The prophecy came true. After a 100 years, the chosen ones slowly passed on. No one knows who are the new successors and no one will know the power they bear. They shall find each other when they reach the 2nd decade of their life, and continue their journey as one.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?
