After Joseph used his Hamon to remove DIO's cells and stabilized Medea's Sepsis, the Joestar Group had left her at the same hospital as Kakyoin knowing that she's in serious danger of being killed by DIO during her weakened state. It was during her first night that she began to have an epiphany over what she has done just for revenge and how she let DIO torment her for an entire year.
Little did she and Kakyoin know that they're about to be visited by a strange woman who has one thing on her mind: To kill off the "Traitors" for her master.
