This is chapter three of the MANIAC series. - A year had passed since Beverly Frazier stepped inside the gates of St: Nicolai Psychiatric Hospital for the first time, and for once she was feeling settled after everything she had been through the past twelve months. The sessions between her and Brandon seemed to be more developing than ever, and her chief was delighted with the way she managed to handle the patient so well. But as the last day of July arrived, Beverly was acutely called in to work in the middle of the night because of a chaotic ongoing situation at the hospital. Little did she know when she arrived at the institution, that she was about to find out something that could change her life forever. - Mature content ✔️ - ❗️CURRENTLY ON HIATUS due to health issues. Highest ranking #205 in mystery/thriller "Come up to the playroom, pet", he said, smirking. "Oh, screw you Vincent", she finally snapped. She got dragged into this anyway, but she'd be damned if she stood there and took this for another second! Suddenly, he grabed her and pinned her against the wall, her back making a loud noise as it collided with the wall. "I told you to call me Master", he growled. Aileen looked up at him, her eyes filled with raw terror. Vincent was big and strong, as he towered over her, he could seriously hurt her. Taken aback by the wild look in her eyes, Vincent immediately let her go, as if her skin burned his hands. "I'm sorr-" ,he tries to tell her, but Aileen quickly runned up the stairs and locked herself in the bathroom. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° The thing about psychopaths though, is that they're notorious for their lack of fear, but also their ability to mimick emotions in order to manipulate people into doing their bidding. And Aileen was doing just that. Warning: this book contains mental illness, violence, mentions of drug use (the first 3 chapters are sort of a prequel, the story picks up after that, but they are still very important)
