The day of the apocalypse...I slept in. If my apartment hadn't resembled a nuclear waste dump, they probably would have found me. As it is, they only found my Cheetos...the b********s. My name is Robert Kennedy Junior...or as they call me in the future "The Zombie Slayer."
The Zombie Slayer is my first piece of fiction on Wattpad. However, I've been writing for close to a decade including over ten full-length novels, an RPG on Amazon Kindle, and an ongoing column on En World: RPG News and Reviews as well as my blog. Thanks for taking the time to read and consider my work. I hope you enjoy it. The Zombie Slayer was meant as a comedic spoof of the latest zombie craze.

The road leads them to the family Colt, and John gives Dean the impossible task to make his peer Clementine Colt speak up about that doomed night, that put her brother onto his soon-to-be deathbed. As you begin to read this, you start to remember. That fateful day, you may have been eating dinner, on your phone, coming home from work or school, or watching TV, when the Emergency Broadcast System emerged on every media outlet available. Zombies are a fickle creature; they're always changing. These zombies... They're unlike anything you've ever seen. The reality of having seen something that gruesome makes your heart race again. You remember the way they looked at first and having to study them to keep your spot at the top of the chain. You look around. I stood there leaning against the door for a second. Then screams reached my ear. I looked to where it came from and saw a girl at the other end of the hall laying on the ground with a gaping hole in her stomach. Three other students had ripped away at the girl's insides and were chewing it up. One paused for a second and looked up at me. He stood up and I panicked. I knew him. He was in my chorus class. August was his name. He had blond, curly hair, blue eyes, and was probably the tallest person in the entire school. August opened his now bloody mouth and let out a screech that sent chills down my spine. He leaped over the other two cannibals and the now dead girl and broke into a sprint. As soon as he leaped I had also started running. I made it out of the 300 hall and hid behind the vending machine that stood at the entrance of the hall. Seconds later, August was standing just inches from me. He looked around and I stayed as quiet and still as I possibly could. I didn't even breathe. After what seemed like years of waiting, August turned back toward the dead girl and walked out if sight. I stayed where I was for a little bit longer until my lungs demanded I start breathing again. Directly in front of me was the library and cafeteria. To the right of the cafeteria was the auditorium and the music hall. "If I could just make it to the chorus room maybe I'll find some of my friends," I thought to myself. I was about to take my first step when I looked down at my shoes. They were brand new and when I walked, they squeaked. I took my shoes off as quietly as I could. I had my Captain America socks on and I knew I'd have to take those off as well. My friends and I role play a lot in this website called chatzy.com. We have this whole world mapped out based on the Hunger Games. We live in two mansions. One is the main mansion, where we all used to live until it got really crowded, and then the second mansion belongs to Gracie. Her mansion is by a waterfall, just a ten minute walk away. Most of us have super powers. I mean, if the Capitol can make mutts, surely we can give ourselves super powers. Gracie has black wings, Talia has super speed, Chris has super strength, Derrick can make himself invisible. Nina can make herself invisible and make force fields too. We all have issues here. Sierra doesn't talk. Chris is a germaphobe. Chase cuts himself. We all have reasons for running away from the districts and the Capitol, but we've all found sanctuary here.
