Even though her dark temptations haunt her daily, she holds it together for her grandmother and her best friend, but when she is unwillingly engage to a prince, and some men are found slaughtered in the woods, she reveals her wolf side in the middle of the day at a public gathering, for everyone to see. 

Her mission accomplished, a target and a price placed on her head, she runs away, disappearing into the woods, before everyone's very eyes. 
All she cares about is that the target is no longer aimed in the direction of the person who really killed those men. 
The person she would kill for to protect... and has done so for more than once.
