The world has made an unexpected discovery one winter morning in early December of 2023, a technological advancement no one had ever really conceived possible. An announcement of a new company had news stations scrambling to get as much info as they could out about it. A company named Life as Fiction announced they would be launching their new technology. Tech that could bring to life any fictional character in this world, the real world. The only limit was for every fictional character there could only be one real life version of them in existence, leading to an extreme exclusivity of ownership to that character. They were a company trying to get as much money as they could from their tech, luckily copyright laws let the creators of the characters some control of who received the real life version of their character. So Wren made a deal with Larian.

"He is not just a character to me. I know that Astarion would not wish to be in a life where his existence is owned by another. If he would be put into my care I would fully sign away my ownership to him so he would only belong to himself and none other. I wish to become his friend, but the only thing I truly want is for him to have his full freedom and be able to live his life as he pleases. Even if that life would have nothing to do with me."

When Wren is told she's the one who will be in possession of Astarion she isn't sure how it will go. Will they form a friendship while she helps him adjust to a new world, will they end up being more than friends, or will he leave with his freedom and never come back? Read to find out.

"Our entire lives led us to this moment, only for us to lose in the end. We aren't a team, a family, we never were. We are just a bunch of puzzle pieces that were forced together but don't really fit." When it was all said and done, they all agreed, they were never meant to win. They watched as the world around them burned, a world they fought so hard to protect. In the distance, a tall figure stood with pride watching his chaos morph into victory, there was nothing left for him to do but watch his enemies perish in the flames. . . ---------- It's the fight they have all waited for their entire lives. The New Generation is ready to defend their family, their friends, and their world from Itri who will all but destroy it if he gets the chance. They know their parent's stories were the start of a battle, but they are here to win the war, as one, as a team. They are meant to work together to defeat their enemy. Ten people united by the most unlikely circumstances, five daughters whose futures are predetermined, and only one chance to make things right. It won't be easy, they must make allies, face new enemies, rely on one another and try not to die in the process, but when new truths come to light, a divide is placed between them as their trust for each other falls apart. Friends become enemies, one team becomes two sides and their enemy only gets stronger in the process. Once upon a time, they thought they can do anything together, but how do you change a future that has already been seen? How can you rely on someone you no longer trust? How will you save an entire universe if you can't even save yourself? You can't hope to win if you're already destined to lose. . . but then again, you can't win at all unless hope is present and that's what matters most. ********** An Aeterian Story- Final Book
Loki x Reader: Into the MCU by Abi-wan_Kenobi

NOTE: Definitely an Avenger's fic as much as a Loki one. It's kinda mixed "reader" and original character. I couldn't help but give her personality and, for reasons explained further down, a name. Still, if it was a true oc I'd have gone into greater depths with her background and put way more character preferences and stuff than I do, tho I still do sometimes. So it's not completely oc and is written in second person like an insert. Ok, on with the summary: Wren is your average nerd who, by means unknown to everyone, manages to open a portal to 2015 MCU. She sets off with the Avengers to stop the future events, such as Civil War, Ragnarok, Infinity War, and Endgame. Loki, her favorite character, is dragged into the mix, and she has to learn how to handle Loki in the flesh. Wren must adapt to the reality of being in the MCU, while also making sure that her love for the character Loki doesn't get her stabbed in the back by the live version. (yeah, basically the reader is dragged into the MCU in 2015, but has knowledge of movies from 2021. She does what any fan might do with that information and situation. Loki and Reader relationship is a main focus, because I couldn't help myself, but Avengers and MCU life is a big part.) Please forgive grammatical errors. Also, chapters later on get longer, but the first few are short because I was just having fun at first. I have the name Wren inserted for Y/N simply because my friend, when reading it, gave her that name so we didn't have to keep saying Y/N. It ended up sticking, and I found myself typing Wren instead of Y/N. It kinda is her name now, like Tony makes nicknames based off of it. Also, uh, idk how this works if I'm supposed to always give credit for something that is clearly Marvel related...cuz I never pay attention to if people do that on a website that's literally like lots of fanfic... but yeah characters and places and everything are all from Marvel...so uh don't come at me Disney

Sadly, I really don't have the motivation to continue this story any longer. I know a lot of you have been wanting to read more of it, and I sincerely apologize for not being able to deliver. The good news is, someone has offered to adopt the story and continue where I left off. If you wish to continue reading this, you may look for it in the profile of @CommanderALFA ••••••••••○○○○○•••••••••• Modern HTTYD AU wherein Hiccup-... Henry, joins a private army after leaving Berk for being, how he was always called his entire life, a runt, a hiccup, a disgrace. After being recruited, he meets amazing new friends and quickly becomes one of the organization's best. But Berk is in trouble. And now, Hiccup's conflicted. He ran away from Berk to start a new life, but...deep down, does he actually miss the town? Does he miss the people who tormented him? He doesn't believe it himself, but...maybe he does. How long will Hiccup be gone? Will Berk be safe and find a new heir? And what about Astrid? Did she forget about him, or did she just remember him even more? --------------------------------------- Disclaimer: I don't own the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, nor Rise of the Guardians, Frozen, Brave, Tangled, or Big Hero 6. Those rights go to their respective owners, both DreamWorks and Disney.
