A small town in Maple Grove, Minnesota is shaken to its core when it's suddenly hit by the losses of two young residents in the same week.

23-year-old Joshua Hart had just started working at the local public school as a high school science teacher. His body was found in the woods behind Autumn Ridge Academy, a local private school, with strangle marks on his neck. His death was ruled a homicide.

Just two weeks later, 17-year-old Bonnie Clyde was found dead in a near-frozen lake behind her private school, Autumn Ridge Academy. Although she was quiet and a loner, her death caused commotion in the small town due to the timing and her family's significance. Despite numerous accusations of her visiting alcoholic uncle, her death was ruled a suicide.

Vivienne Morgan watches her town's problems from the side. As a classmate of Bonnie's, she can't help but be more curious about the recent deaths, especially if a murderer is roaming the town. She also sympathizes with Bianca Clyde, Bonnie Clyde's twin sister, as a twin herself.

But as secrets unfold, and stories get told, it becomes evident that everyone has secrets, some more than others.
