After MK's body is lost in the battle with Lady Bone Demon, Wukong becomes desperate to keep what little remains of his loved ones-even going as far as to pull Macaque back into his life by force.

Things only continue to escalate from then on, but will another be pulled apart as one family comes together?

In a dark AU where Macaque is taken 'home' by his ex, the Great Sage, meanwhile, Wukong is desperate to get his kid back and keep his past lover safe after losing everyone he cares about.

MK was orphaned at a young age. He doesn't know why he's never felt normal, doesn't know why he's never fit in and he certainly doesn't know that his actual parents are Sun Wukong and Macaque. This is MK's journey through life, trying to figure out who he is, where he came from, and why his balance sucks. (Most of this is set at the beginning of the actual show except the first two chapters which are before. This is just an excuse to write my two favourite Monkey's being dad's to Mk basically. Lot's of miscommunication is about to occur.)

His heart was filled with dreams of grandeur, envisioning himself as a powerful figure, a formidable agent of the government who would wield influence and instill fear in foes along his journey. As he entered adulthood, fate led him down a treacherous path where he crossed paths with the nefarious Strong Spider, a henchman of the notorious Spider Queen. It was in that moment of confrontation that the weight of his past mistakes began to bear down on him, forcing him to grapple with the choices he made. In a desperate bid for redemption, he found himself compelled to break his own solemn vows, ultimately leading to his capture by the enigmatic Mihou family. In the shadowy corridors of the Mihou legacy, Liu'Er Mihou stood as a reflection of his bloodline's tumultuous history. As the twin heir to a legacy marred by crime, he dutifully carried on his father's dark work, entrenched in a world of chaos and deceit. Known as Macaque, or Six Ear, his title spoke to his uncanny ability; his ears could glean secrets that remained unspoken, allowing him to hear the whispers of thoughts and intentions flowing around him like a hidden river. This gift, however, came with its own burdens. Reader is female for this one !! I made this because of my newfound obsession with LMK (Lego Monkie Kid, go watch it if you haven't, I recommend!) and also because of my love for Monkey King. Watched 'Amnesia Rules' and one thing lead to another! I adored Sun Wukong's mannerisms and enthusiasm in this episode and I thought, 'hey why not make a lil fanfic based around a young Wukong in his Journey to the West?' so here we are dear readers. This was purely made out of comfort :) On one faithful morning, you decided to harvest some peaches. Only to be met with a monkey who ate half of them.

Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy. What will happen when all of their paths collide? Find out when you read... I originally posted this on AO3. I decided to also post it here because AO3 has recently been quite buggy lately.. [ON HOLD] "You wouldn't get it, Kid. She was someone who went through a life line of pain just for a single purpose of protecting another." Sun Wukong sighed, letting his feet dangle off the edge of the ship, the wind was harshly blowing against him. Even when the ship was sitting still, the deserts wind was still harsh. Mk, sensing a new story to learn, sat down next to his mentor with excitement. Only when he saw the somber look did he realize the weight this story had on him. "Um... Who is she again?" Mk asked, rubbing the back of his neck, looking backwards to the rest of the crew. Sun Wukong grumbled words before shaking his head with a sigh. "Someone that I had accidentally mistreated." Mk turned back around as the rest of the crew got closer to listen in on Wukongs story. His tail was carefully tucked next to him as he rested his head in a palm. "She was just trying to do her job, but slowly her friends fell one by one. They were driven to insanity from the burden their job held. She was the strongest one, and she was the last to fall. She succumbed to her power, and it slowly ran through her. All I can say is that the last thing that remained of her was a pile of ash." Wukong slowly pulled a small looking urn. The group went silent, all holding their breathes as Wukong rotated the urn in his hand. He still kept his old crush next to him. [LMK x F!Reader]
