Twenty year old Aaliyah (a-le-ya) Queen always hated yachts, well mostly because her boyfriend always said "yachts suck" and well she believed him. But she still always wanted to go on one. So of course when her father and brother decided it would be fun she gave in. 

Little did she know, it wouldn't be fun. 

Not for her father, not for her fathers friend, not for her best friend Sara. And certainly not for her and Oliver. Before the accident she was always seen as the "rich stuck up princess" 
the girl who drunk and drove without consequences, the girl who got away with anything because of  "daddys money" 

But they didn't know anything about her life, they didn't know what the girl had felt like inside her head they didn't know the drugs and alcohol was an escape. And they definitely didn't know who she really was.

And for her, it was time to move on. Years later, instead of going to college, she decided to go on a boat trip with Oliver Queen. This decision changed her fate. She became an assassin and later a Legend. She had been through a lot. After defeating the other two Fates, the Legends partied through the night. But as they returned to their ship, Sara disappeared. The rest of the Legends didn't remember much of the night as they woke up the next morning. How were they going to find Sara without any clue? Was this all connected to Sara's friendship with Julia? And was she who she claimed to be?

On the night of March 18th, 2000, Barry came down stairs for to see what the commotion he heard had been. What he had seen was his mother surrounded by red and yellow lightning. Meanwhile, his father Henry was trying to reach out to his mother, Nora. Barry had seen a Man in a Yellow suit within the lightning, and the next thing he knew he was 10 blocks from home. After running all the way home, he sees his father being arrested and his mothers corpse being covered with a sheet. He was adopted by his best friends dad for 2 years. He is constantly called crazy, delusional, and traumatized. When barry turned 13, he decided to sign up for a student exchange program. The destination of said exchange, China. Flip to the other side of the coin, and we see that Oliver has been born and raised with a silver spoon in his mouth. He was born in the illustrious family of the Queen's, and he grew up with his best friends, Tommy Merlyn and Laurel Lance. Oliver had a little sister named Thea when he was 6, Oliver is 15 when Barry's mother is murdered. 2 years later, Oliver decides to go with his father Robert Queen on a business trip to China. They set out on the Quen family yacht, the Queens Gambit. Through a work of fate, Oliver and Barry end up on Lian Yu together, 5 years ahead of schedule for when Oliver was supposed to end up on the island. How will things differ and be the same during those 5 years? What will it be like when they come back to "civilization". Read on to find out. Will he try to win back his ex-girlfriend from his best friend? Will Kara accept Oliver again into her heart? Or will she go through with the wedding and marry Barry?
