Last year at Christmas, Jane and Charles fell in love. This year, is it finally Lizzie's turn?

In this modern Pride and Prejudice AU, when Lizzie and Mary accept Jane's invitation to spend December up at Netherfield, Lizzie doesn't anticipate essentially becoming a third wheel. Luckily, her new friend Georgiana Darcy is there and in need of a friend. The two bond almost immediately - and if Lizzie begins to look forward to seeing her Georgiana's brother as much as the friend herself, well, you can hardly blame her.

With Lady Catherine causing trouble as always, this short festive fic has a happy ending for everyone (except Lady Catherine de Bourgh, Mr. Collins, and Mr. Wickham).

The Eldest | F. Darcy

18 parts Complete

First Book in The Eldest series There lived six sisters in the Bennet household. The first was a very generous and kind soul who helped her father with the estate and tenants. She passed her childhood away from the Bennts at her Uncle's house in London. She was far more accomplished and intellectual than the others. What no one knew was the reason behind her aloof and silent demeanor. She used to get lost in her thoughts for hours and avoided assemblies. The only assembly she ever attended was the one where Mr. Bingley had come with his sisters, brother in law and a Mr. Darcy When Mr. Darcy first saw her, she was in a corner with Mary. Many men came in her way only to receive a polite no from her. At a dinner, even when everyone laughed at Elizabeth's jest, her smile did not reach her eyes. Who was she? Why was he so enchanted by her mysterious self?
