What do you do if your mother calls you and tells you you're coming to California to celebrate Thanksgiving with the whole family? Oh, and you have to bring your fiance (the boy they think you're still engaged to even though you broke it off years ago because he was too occupied with his ex and it wasn't sending hate mail, if you get my drift).

I never thought it was all going to go down like this. I thought that I, Desiree Lockridge, would end up living in the city with a few cats, my easel, and some shoes I got from modeling. All true so far, minus the cats. But, life and Mother had other plans. So- what am I going to do?

Where can you buy a pair of cheetah leather pants, someone's great grandmothers' earrings, a green mustang missing a chair, a doll with one eye, a tissue Justin Bieber dabbed his nose with, and most importantly, a fiance?

One word, my friend. Ebay. Who say's you can't by love?

Follow the horrible humor, awkward situations, and hilarious story as Dee and Wookie921 make a deal. Meeting in real life is never as fun as surfing on the web. Or is it?

*This is a longer piece of work and it is written more towards being a actual book. Hope you still read it though.

Her father left. The perfect house in the perfect neighborhood. Claire needed her father. Her mother works hard, but hard to keep the neighbors impressed. Then, her dad runs away to be a rock band roadie. Her 4.5 AP Nerdfest brother is accused of raping and murdering a girl with Special Needs. And when she and her best friend go on a runaway road trip--they end up in a truck with sex traders. Claire's world spins out of control--until it doesn't. It is 2008 and In 2008 the whole world changed. And not just because the iphone came out in 2007. It wasn't just the families of the OC Housewives that were living a reality show; so many families seemed to be all about "the house" and not "the home." Sunglasses cost hundreds of dollars and "bags" were thousands. Everything had a label that said you spent a lot of money. People went crazy buying another house, a boat, a Hummer (at 10 miles to the gallon). I distinctly remember two couples, in their late 30s, who were shopping together in Toys R Us. They had a video camera and were discussing the "rules" to this shopping trip. The rules were they had to look into the camera and say what they were buying, for who and why. And the carts had to be overflowing with toys. It was as if they had dreamed their entire lives of doing a "who cares how much it costs" shopping spree at Toys R Us for their children. Just recklessly spending on a bunch of STUFF. That was 2007. And then came 2008. But, more disturbing to me, was the impact it had on families. I think moms and dads lost themselves in providing stuff for their kids and not giving their kids time. And I saw the kids suffer because of it. So, I did a little research and a lot of observing and I wrote a mostly fictional story about an upper-middle class family in the OC. It explores (it simple terms) what was going on in the economy and what teenagers really want from their parents...

Wattpad Creator! Happy and proud. HIM: Staying the night? Not my thing. Hearts and flowers? Boring. Falling in love? Not anytime soon. Settling down? Off the table. Getting married? You're kidding me, right? That was me before the night we first met. Because, well, meeting a hot chick that made me hard just by looking at her was definitely not in my plans when I sneaked out of a woman's apartment after what was already a long night. Taking her home and getting her a chocolate cake, though, was kind of intentional. But falling for her? Boy, that was pretty much inevitable. HER: He came out of nowhere, literally. I was there, sitting on that bench, barefoot and crying and just getting my heart broken in peace and silence. Then he appeared, all mad and furious and sexy and tall and just drool-worthy! And just like that, despite my poor attempts of escaping him, he had me wrapped in his world. A crazy yet heart-fluttering world, that I have absolutely no intentions of leaving anytime soon. ------- Character development is a main theme in this book. It shows you how they both work on changing for the better, while trying to overcome the obstacles in their relationship and fight for each other till the end. ** Warning!! Some chapters contain sexual scenes, but there's always a warning at the head of the chapter. Do not read them if you're under 18.** * Also, please beware that this story contains a lot of swearing. Secret Santa ✔️ by idielopez

"You had no right to do that," I snap, trying my best to out walk him. His chuckle was loud behind me and his hand griped on my forearm, stopping me. Something about his warmth gave me chills all over my body. Something I don't think I ever wanted in the first place. Especially from him and especially now. "Yes I did, and I still do." His hard grip around my arm loosened, and snaked up to lock his fingers through my hair. Oh Momma, what is happening? Being this close to him has been happening way too often for normal. Still, I couldn't break away from this close contact, I was frozen, shocked. "What makes you think that?" My question hit him with humor, and instead of fully responding, he leans his face closer to mine. The smirk on his face stayed once he noticed the affect he had on me. "Because," he whispers out pressing our bodies together. "I'm your Secret Santa," he licks his lips as if he's hungry, then continues, "I can give you anything I want to give you." His free arm wraps around my waist, and he lifts me up during the action before pressing our lips together. The main character is Kimberly. She's an accident prone person who wants nothing but to enjoy her winter. Her friends want the best for her after a terrible break up they witnessed. Every year they all hold the traditional Secret Santa. Somebody from the group believes that they are what Kimberly needs. This is about Kimberly and her crazy winter story about her not so Secret Santa.

Finding relationships is easy... Keeping them is the real game. That's what I'm learning in my first one. It's not easy. Our rival schools are an hour apart, my best friend's turning secretive, my parents are controlling, and my brother's still an ass, gearing toward winning the state championship, and still doesn't like my boyfriend, Logan. I get it, they're rivals, and I kinda feel like Logan's team might be better but this season will decide. Being the star rival quarterback's girlfriend brings big rumors and big drama, especially when elements of our pasts resurface - his jaded ex whatevers, and the secrets I thought I'd buried and moved beyond. All of this while I just want to figure out where to go for college and what for. Some relationships will always stand the test of time and distance, while others crumble by the time the high school dust settles. I hope Logan and I are in the former because I'm falling hard for him. Really hard. Forever love hard. Story is ongoing with frequent updates. Please add it to your reading list! ~~~ Y/n's P.O.V. I was upstairs cleaning my room before Hannah (Hannah is your sister. You can switch it if that is your name.) got home from work which is around 6:30 in the afternoon, so I had plenty of time to get my chores done. I just have to put my dirty clothes in the hamper, put the clean clothes in the closet, sweep and vacuum the house, and... "Easy there fellas. You don't want us to get another bad tip from our customers do yah?" I looked outside and saw a man was yelling at the driver of a moving truck. I backed away from the window and went downstairs to make dinner for Hannah and I. I always make dinner for us. I don't mind it, because I learn new recipes everyday that I want to try from just simple peanut butter cookies to baking multi layered cake to grilling steak to making a whole feast. Today I'm making chicken with green beans, and diced red skin potatoes. When I got to the kitchen, I filled up the sink with water, got the chicken, and set it in there to thaw out. While that was going, I got two cans of green beans, grabbed the can opener, and started opening them. About 20 minutes later, dinner was done. All I have to do now is wait for Hannah to get home. *Knock-knock* "Coming!" I said to whoever was at the door. I quickly put the last plate on the table and ran to the door. I opened it and saw... ~~~ Y/n saw what?! Read the book to find out what y/n saw. The more views, votes, and comments I get, the more I will post. Go follow me on Instagram @KayKat814.
