Pray, Read, Work.
The goal was to graduate as the top of the class, as the head girl, and as the good example who would make her family proud.
With her older sister, a single mother and dropped out of university, Adaora unwillingly becomes the attention magnet, of her family, school and church. With everyone expecting good things out of 'Everyone's daughter' the cracks in her perfect facade finally break, when she wakes up naked, next to the new exchange student, Wade.
The pressure gets seemingly worse, when his twin sister Wendy gives Adaora a run for her money, rivaling her grades, and earning everyone's attention.
Adaora is heavily religious.
Wade hasn't even stepped foot in a church.
Adaora reads Shakespeare for fun.
Wade can't spell 'assessment' correctly.
Adaora works at both home and at her aunty's hair salon every evening after school.
Wade...has a lot of money.
The wheels in her life are spinning fast, too fast, and with everyone's scrutinizing eyes on her, it's only a matter of time before she makes a mistake, one that she won't be able to crawl out of.
