They say that when you are in kindergarten and if a boy constantly pulls your pigtails or annoyes you then he probably has a crush on you but for Zella Summer, that wasn't the case. Zenith Periwinkle did that to her because he hated her.
They annoyed the hell out of each other.
It was finally a relief for Zella when Zenith moved to some other state. Since then they had not seen or met each other.
Thirteen years later however, fate had set them to meet again. Being almost past their teenage life's, it would have made more sense if they got past their childhood feuds but even thirteen years later they were the same way they had been.

When they do get caught full on Summer decides to declare a break. So she can think about her options.
