Natalie Parker was your average 16 year old girl. She went to parties, did stupid things (that were usually illegal), and didn't think twice about the consequences. But what happens when the consequences mean you could lose your best friend? As Nat realizes she has feelings for the most unlikely of people: her best friend Jake McKinley, who was practically her brother, it scares her. She begins to think maybe the thrill of the ride may not be worth the things that happen once she finally reaches the ground. When she finds out he has feelings for her too, she does what she thought she would never do: close her eyes, hold her breath, and jump.
