Guwon (then I Won) met Moon So Hee when she was still a human and in unfortunate circumstances. He was immediately enchanted by her and her singing voice and quickly decided to make her his companion-having no idea that she was sick and didn't have much longer to live. He wanted her to sign a contract with him so that she could live for ten more years but she refused, saying it felt wrong and that this is what fate had in store for her. He was absolutely devastated when she passed but forced himself to move on and forget about the fragile human.

Years later, he saw her again-singing at a canteen. He was shocked, sure that it couldn't be a reincarnation. When he confronted Sohee, she was angry with him, stating that it was his fault she was kicked out of heaven and assigned strenuous tasks in order to not be sent to a purgatory like hell.

She was now a fallen angel. And instead of making deals with humans, she was tasked with protecting them, helping them and seeing them off to the other side. She was coined as The Helper.

Now in the year 2023, she has a large buisness named The Helpers where the employees are hired to do various odd jobs and provide assistance for a reasonably low price.

Though their differences and annoyance with each other, the two have a rather interesting friendship. Things are further complicated when Sohee misuses her powers and is then left dependent on Guwon.
