It is during Vergil's unloading, Esme is able to find what grounds her to the moment and solidify her place at his side as the strong, devoted, and loving woman she is. **This story follows Stay in the same universe. An empathetic soul, she lends her ear to his disgruntlement, hoping to help soothe his frustration. Will she allow herself also to heal through helping him and in turn, perhaps finding love in one another? Nero wasn't expecting Kyrie to break things off suddenly, after years of being together. This left Nero with a lot of frustration and self criticism, writing himself off of dating. Period. Opting to focus on his career as a demon hunter instead, he convinces himself into thinking he doesn't need that sort of distraction.
