An alien boy crash-lands on planet Earth, without spare resources to repair his only escape option. As a means to collect these resources and extra information about the planet, he adopts the alias of Kyle Kylopos, using his species' shapeshifting ability to blend into the crowd of a nearby middle school, only to find that his powers begin to fail him whenever he is around a certain student. Kyle, now forced to come to terms with the real him when around this peculiar girl, is given the option between staying on Earth to learn more about himself or to simply leave for his home planet.
