Maggie wasn't your average American girl. She wanted to change her name to mark and have facial hair, because that's who she feels she was. But, she can't, because of the embarrassment and the pressure of her parents expecting her to be the perfect daughter. So, can Maggie let her secret slip away, or out of her mouth?

Cinderella Can't be a Guy

2 parts Complete

Thomas should live in a time and age where people don't care about sexuality or gender identification but that isn't true as his mother refuses to think of him as anything other than her son and Thomas. To the people important in his life, Thomas is actually Ginger and a female. She's almost done with high school and ready to get out from under her oppressive mother's thumb and live the rest of her life how she wants to. This is a story I wrote for creative writing class. I wasn't intending to publish it so I didn't think much about the title. I did take the original title of A Glass Slipper by Jackson Terrance. I really loved this title and I was sad when they changed it.
