It all start when he got chased into town. Jeffrey ran away after his parents died. He coldn't stay with two people that hated each other(his aunt and uncle). He ran until he got to two mills. Where a invisible border seperated blacks from whites. H didn't see them as "black" he seen them more on the brown side. Black licorices was his kind of black. West ends was whites and east end was colored. He met a lot of people, a made many friends, and many white enemies and black enemies. But he met one person. One person he started off bad with but slowly began to become more then just enemies..
