The Unwanted Twin

Ashlyn Myers is a tough and distant 15-year-old who has been familiar with nothing but suffering and disregard. She was never the cherished twin. People either ignored her or treated her poorly. No one has ever shown her love or care. From enduring her mother's and stepfather's abuse, to being ill-treated at foster homes that loathed her, to losing her closest friend, to facing the most horrific trauma imaginable. Aubrie Myers is a gentle, compassionate 15-year-old who had a far better upbringing compared to her twin sister. She was never harmed or ill-treated by anyone. Her mother loved only her. Her stepfather didn't favor her either, but he mostly chose to overlook her presence. Ashlyn knew how to keep him away from Aubrie.
When their most recent foster dad is arrested, they are taken to the police station, where they discover they have a dad and brothers they never knew existed or could remember.
