"But spearmint and new parchment paper I couldn't place why those smells were important, until now." She spoke softly.

"Granger." Malfoy walked back over to her where he was less than a few inches from her.

She looked up to him as if still lost in her thoughts. "She felt sorry for Hades, he was alone ruling a world that was nothing, but death. She found that he really wasn't scary at all as she grew to understand him." Before he could even place a hand on her cheek, a loud bang and giggling could be heard from the other side of the room as a wooden door with decorative metals opened, the sound of wood scrapping over the worse-for-wear cobblestone floor. Malfoy withdrew his pale hand hastily.

Ron and Lavender walked out. Lavender was hanging off his right arm, Ron stopped and gave Hermione a questionable look. "Hermione, what are you doing with him?"

Lavender looked at him a little upset as she tugged on his right arm, "Come on, I think it's a little crowded in here lets go." Lavender let go as she stepped away and headed up the staircase.

Malfoy could see the anger welling up within Hermione's fiery honey eyes. "Nothing, we were just talking."

He's a regrettably barbarous, pureblood, Slytherin heir; 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, unavailable, and that's the way he'd prefer it to remain. Draco Malfoy has much more important, particularly insidious business to attend to, rather than waste time worrying about altering the course of an already pre-determined marriage. No sense in lingering on an emotional connection with any witch deemed fit for the deplorable role, when one has a serpent's fangs buried deep in their skin, releasing venom at an alarming rate... Unfortunately for him (and for her), Madeleine Desrosiers cannot be reasoned with, and she has her golden eyes locked squarely on one wizard only. This hazardous enchantress is a terrifically stubborn French Beauxbatons transfer student with little knowledge about Hogwarts, a terribly inconvenient Parisian dialect, and a knack for touching things that definitely do 𝗻𝗼𝘁 belong to her. Finding herself drawn to him despite his inhospitable charm, Madeleine shall ultimately become the grand architect of her own personal prison. Sudden and involuntary bequeathment to the Malfoy family shield was definitely not the game plan. She is inevitably drawn deeper into a world darker than she'd ever imagined, and in order to navigate the shadows of her new apocalyptic life, she must discover the gift of 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲. ☙ Book Two: Obliviation ❧ ☙ Book Three: Aftermath ❧ ☙ Book Four: Supremacy ❧

**COMPLETE** It's five years after the war. Hermione lives in a nice muggle flat in London. She notices someone new now lives in the flat across the alley from her. Someone she never thought would live in Muggle London. And he needs her help to break a blood curse. ****** Draco Malfoy stood there clad in a black silk shirt, a slight smirk playing on his lips. One hand was braced against the wall as he pushed his platinum hair from his face, "Granger," He didn't give her a chance to respond as his cool grey eyes met hers, "Imagine my surprise when I seen you, of all people, staring at me through the window."
