Also, Veneer and Velvet's parents aren't dead like in my other fanfic. Veneer is the more likable twin of the two. He was bullied by a small group of kids though. They were just always jealous that the teachers liked him. He was always the "teachers pet." Veneer never disrespected the teachers. He just never liked being mean for no reason. Was pretty shy as a kid. Now that he's older, he's got some sass, due to his sister. He loves cooking and gardening with his mother. He had one that did awful things to him when he was younger and vulnerable. He loved playing the Cello. He also loves talking to others, not for very long though usually. He's never really had anyone to help him when he struggled in school. No one to cry on or rely on. He's also always loved reading. He just goes to a whole other world whenever he reads. That's the only he can really escape from all the negativity around him.
