Set before The Flash: John Waters' Speedster Life. A slightly unhinged cop (Detective John Waters) is partnered with a veteran detective (Detective Roger Murtaugh) trying to maintain a low-stress level in his life. John tries to learn how to get past the love of his life Liz, and Roger tries to learn how to be partnered with John as he tries to get himself killed almost constantly. After John left for Central City after two years his twin/time remnant Savitar/Jim came into the LAPD after he worked for the CIA for a year and was later partnered with Murtaugh in hopes of helping Jim find himself as a person and not John Waters, but Jim Waters.
