The Chronicles of Rune
After I had a dream where I met a new character, Rune Yung Tan, my writing for the work Redemption for Superheroes started to lean towards the story about Rune, and that isn't what I am working for in that other piece. In that case, I only want the story parts to be metaphorical, and not an actual character- driven narrative. So I took some of the parts that related to a stand alone narrative and repurposed them. I didn't say recycled, even though the first sections are very similar, I reworked the grammar to a more classic sense, changed first person to a character named Dean, added a little more character background and description, and added content. This is going to be a more strait forward story, which I consider to be more of a stand alone than a spin off. Also it feeds my perfectionism to rewrite passages and put them in multiple works. Finally, this isn't the first time I "met" a character in a dream, I found out that Valentine's real name is Valeria Maria Contessa Garcia, she chose the former moniker herself in a similar epiphany to the one Rune came to me in. The cover, like my others, is an original work of art by me as well.Complete
