In the town of Newtown, there is a legend that werewolves live in the local forest, but most residents do not believe it. The protagonist of this story is 13-year-old John Adams, who is in love with 16-year-old student Amy at school. He doesn't mind that she's older, but he's afraid to talk to her. In addition, he is bullied at school because he has Asperger's syndrome. One day in Newtown there is a murder, the victim is John's teacher. The witness to the murder is 75-year-old Mr. Jones, who claims that a werewolf killed her. John is the only one who believes him and decides to go into the forest at night to take a picture of the werewolf, not knowing that he is about to have the biggest adventure of his life.
