So I'm writing this in honor of my 12 year old self, who played out this fanfic with a friend at church camp.
WARNING, this is coming from the mind of a young girl who was deeply in love with Scorpius Malfoy. If you fit that bill, you'll love this!

Some backstory before we get started:
So here's some backstory before we get started;
Brittney Honedey, Y/n Bec's mother, is a pureblood witch who was sorted into Slytherin. Draco Malfoy had a huge crush on her back in the day, but she turned him down in favor of a muggle. Her family disowned her and took away her share of their fortune for doing that, but she didn't care; she was "not like the other girls" in Slytherin lol.
So anyway, she marries the muggle, John Bec. Draco gets mad and kills him. Brittney was already preggo by this point tho, and Y/n Bec and Scorpius Malfoy were born around the same time. They didn't grow up knowing about each other for obvious reasons lol
This story starts after Y/n turns 11 and gets her acceptance letter to Hogwarts.
Note; this takes place during the time of the Cursed Child, but the events don't pan out exactly as they did in the play.

The space between us disappeared. "Scared of what he'll say?" His hot breath was vexing, in both agony and tone. My eyes narrowed at his assumptions that I cared enough. "Aren't you scared of what I'll do?" My eyes casted down to the wand he didn't see slide up. It was pointed at the firm hand on my throat. "You've always underestimated me, Malfoy." Each word dripped like honey, causing his smirk to twist. A cat and mouse stuck in tormenting circles. His gaze dropped to my lips, a heat igniting in the silence between us. - Where there is smoke: there's fire. The same smokey eyes that watched her too closely all these years. Lillian Petunia Potter, named after her mother, had to fly under the radar and hide in the shadows while her infamous twin brother basked in the hero limelight. She played too close with fire and got herself burned one too many times. Will Malfoy cause her life to go up in flames? Will she freely jump into them if it means risking it all? *** This fan fiction will be loosely following the plot. For the sake of everyone, the plot spans over a couple of year. The first few chapters of the story is story building and to help add slow burn .The majority of the story they will be consenting 17+ year olds. Malfoy's thumb caressed Dahlia's cheek, and her eyes fluttered open to meet his. "You aren't expendable to me," Draco hissed forcefully. "Do you understand?" Dahlia couldn't form words. She tried, but none came so instead she nodded. "Words, Dumbledore, use your words." Hissing at the use of her surname, she looked up at him and snarled, "Understood, Malfoy." He didn't seem put off by her anger. Rather, he seemed pleased with himself. He gave a nod to her, and then locked eyes with Harry for half a second. The boys seemed to have a silent, nonverbal conversation before Potter inclined his head to the Slytherin, who did the same.
