A crystal that held all existence together collapses to dust, a world once united now divided into clans, a banished force resurfacing and in the middle of it are kids born for the sole purpose of balance of this ever crumbling world. Against a will they were never allowed to have, is the journey of pain, loss, betrayal, fighting, love and emotions too overwhelming to describe. Will they appease the gods that created them? or choose their own path? ...As I carefully walked towards the wall, where I think I remember seeing the light switch, I admire the light the three moons in our confused sky provide. A calm breeze makes its way through the curtain and I glance over at Jade. I remove my eyes from her "This isn't the time Nolan" I tell myself. "Neither is it the age" I mumble right after. I think for a second I hear a creak but assume it's someone turning in their bed. I flip the switch and turn around. My eyes hazy from the sudden impact of the light and the black spots in my vision resemble a figure. I almost laugh. When my eye sight adjusts , the figure is still there.... " JADE!!!" Aurora darts up in shock, her hair cascading down her shoulders. The figure we identified turns swiftly to hurl the knife she has in her hands at me. My head tilts to the right quickly, evading the dagger which is now stuck on the thermoset plastic of the switch. The figure turns back to Jade's bed to see her gone. Aurora now in possession of an elemental scepter points it straight at the figures' head. Jade follows up and presses the tip of a crossbow on the figures' back. "Sickness is the vengeance of nature for the violation of her laws.." Aurora starts. " In your case, my nature's vengeance is your death" Jade finished. All Rights Reserved
