In a place isoleted from the outside world, surrounded by huge walls and full of teenage boys, every month the creators send by a box a boy. They always sent boys, just and only boys.
But what would happen if one month, the creators wouldn't send a boy...but a girl?

Heather.

Heather is the first girl the glade has ever met. She is a shy but strong and brave girl, with no memories of her past life just like the others. From the very beggining Heather starts to have strange dreams. These dreams will slowly drain and drestroy her.

Time pass by and things just keep getting worse and worse. Heather will start to lose hope of escaping from the place that holds her and her friends prisoners and as if things could't get worse, her dreams will continue to invade her mind more and more until she will no longer able to understand what is real and what is not.

You might have understood that her life in the glade won't be easy at all but she'll eventually make it even if with ups and downs and perhaps more downs than ups. She'll be able to survive thanks to the help her from her friends will give her and especially thanks to the help that a particular boy will give her.

✿ "I'm too scared..." "Of what? I can help you, Heather." After what felt like eternity I looked into his eyes for the first time in a long time. "I'm scared of how you'll look at me after I'll finish to tell about everything." I took a long breath before continue to speak. "I'm scared how you'll look at me if I tell you about the darkness, the sadness and the confusion I keep inside..." ✿

Now the only question left to ask is not if she will survive because we already know this, but rather if she will come out alive without going nuts and without destroying everything around her.
