Everyone knows the story of Yusuke Urameshi, the street-fighting delinquent who died saving a kid and became a Spirit Detective. But he wasn't the only one caught in the crossfire of fate that day.
Meet Skye Brown, a Sarayashiki Junior High student whose life takes a supernatural turn when she ends up in a spiritual coma. Now, she's the "Rookie"-the backup plan in case Yusuke fumbles the bag. Together with Yusuke and a crew of psychics, demons, and a very grumpy "Mad Dog" cousin, Skye has to navigate a world of Spirit Guns, Dark Tournaments, and ancient demon kings.
Coming back to life was the easy part. Staying alive? That's where things get complicated.
