Demersus - submerged/to sink
In an under water society being ravaged by humans and ocean acidification. Demersus, a member of this society, believed that he could save his kind from this atrocity. But, as the years drag on, and there's no solution in sight. He wonders if there if there's even a point to trying.

This is a short story I wrote for class, I didn't want it to just rot in my files.

Ocean acidification is a real environmental issue. More and more carbon dioxide fumes are pumped into our atmosphere every year from factories, cars, and many other man-made productions. More than our planet was made to handle. Our ocean absorbs the oxygen and carbon dioxide from our atmosphere, but the inflation of carbon dioxide is causing sea water to become more acid than sea water.

I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" A screen was floating in front of me. 「 Welcome, new adventurer! 」 "Adventur...rer?" But..... I'm so small! My body is the size of a 9 year old kid! And I don't even know what the hell happened to me. After I read some information on the screen, I was amazed that the world I was in was like a VRMMORPG. Magic exists and so does the level. "Huh?" When I look at my status, I'm not neither a mage that cast magic nor a swordsman that wields a sword, instead.... I'm a puppeteer! Will I survive in this new world despite knowing that I don't have a place to stay or food to eat? Note: This is more likely in Fantasy. Magic goes bruh broom brr. Back To Past To Make It Perfect
Reva is brought to the hospital due to an accident where she takes her last breath thinking that she has no memorable moments in her life. Reva has not lived her life to the fullest. She dies with this regret. Reva opens her eyes and sees that she is alive. She looks around and realizes that she is in her old house where she spent her childhood. She looks at her hands and body and realizes that it is the body of a 14-15 year old girl. She cannot believe her eyes. She stands up and looks at her face in the mirror and remembers that this is her face when she was 15 years old. After a lot of thinking and understanding, she realized that she is in her past. This means that she can make her sad life happy. She has another chance to live her life and make her and her family's life better by erasing the regrets of her past life. Reva not only has a second chance to live her life but she also has a magical space. Reva decides to erase all the regrets of her past life in this life and live life to the fullest. Let's find out what happens in this new beginning of Reva's new life and how she turns her regrets into happiness.
