This book is not really scary, it's about a girl named Paisley Hartman, she goes to Arisol Academy. She keeps having these panicked dreams or flash backs from another persons memory. Meanwhile at home Paisley's twin sister, Sadiee, is in rehab because she's been scared for life so far from a tragic event from the school she and her sister were attending, now only Paisley currently attends. Paisley's family kept what happened to Sadiee a secret from Paisley and she's trying the hardest to find out what,who, and when this mess has to do with. I'm Paisley's Best friend, Isabella Monez, so you can say I'm the narrator. I solemnly swear that I will right in this journal as much as I can! **** I wrote this book in 2014 as a Senior in High School. I'm sure it's full of grammatical and spelling errors as well as potholes. She's pushed to the bottom of the food chain and suddenly becomes the butt of everyone's jokes. Lex is picked on for not only her different ethnicity, but having a medical disability she has no control over as well. When the guy that everyone fears suddenly takes an intrest in her, Lexington is thrown for a whole new loop as she tries to understand what's happening. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted.
