Years pass and Mac had completely closed himself off from the world, never letting anyone get close. That was until he met Zoey Miller. His biggest nuisance since he began studying at the University of Stanford. And his hate was not one-sided at all.

But after a messy fight with his best friend Damon, Zoey goes to comfort him. During this moment Mac experiences a flashback about his wife. Perhaps Zoey isn't so bad after all...
